Yes, provided the university itself is recognised. We check the current recognition list for every institution before it goes on your shortlist — for medical programmes that means BMDC, and for other degrees the relevant accreditation body in Malaysia.

Most universities run two main intakes a year, with some offering a third. Applications should start three to six months before the intake you want, because visa processing needs its own runway.

Many universities accept an English-medium academic background or their own placement test instead of IELTS. Where IELTS is required, most bachelor programmes ask for 6.0 and masters programmes for 6.5.
